The Guest Journey

How tour operators are
using their guidebooks

1

Ticket purchase

Include your guidebook link in the confirmation email. The experience starts the moment they purchase.

2

Before they arrive

Guests preview stops, browse local recommendations, and build anticipation for the experience.

3

At the meeting point

Your guide shares a QR code so anyone who didn't receive the link can scan in and access their guidebook on the spot.

4

During the experience

Stop-by-stop details, photos, and context. At their own pace, whenever they want more.

5

End of the experience

Tip the guide, leave a review, share with friends, and redeem exclusive offers from your tour partners. The guidebook stays with them as a personal resource guide while they continue exploring your city on their own.

Email Capture

Build your marketing
on autopilot

Your reservation system captures the person who books, but not everybody who attends. 3x your marketing reach when every guest excitedly enters their email. Locals and visitors, segmented automatically.

Interactive Stops

Consistent storytelling,
every guide, every tour

Some guides nail the introduction. Others, not so much. The guidebook sets expectations from the start and keeps the experience elevated no matter who's leading. Archival photos, behind-the-scenes footage, and rich context your guides can't carry in their back pocket.

Your tour partners benefit too.

Each stop features their brand, directions back to the location, and social media links.

"All of our guides use them."

"We depend pretty heavily on the guidebooks. We replaced printed materials entirely. It just works."

Guide Training Series

A video series to
train your guides

We know. Your guides are resistant to new technology. That's why we've made it easy.

Invite your guide to your account and they'll be sent three short training videos. After, they'll know how to setup their profile, present a guidebook to their next group, and maximize their tips.

Frequently asked questions

Do my guides get their own accounts?
Yes. Each guide gets their own login where they can update their profile, manage their tip link, and access the guidebooks they're assigned to.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guidebooks work in any mobile browser. Guests just tap a link or scan a QR code and they're in. No app store, no friction.
Can I try it before paying?
Absolutely. The Free plan gives you 1 guidebook, 1 guide account, 50 guest contacts/month, and core features like email capture, tipping, and review prompts. No credit card required.
How do guests access the guidebook?
Each guidebook has one link and QR code. Share it with your whole group via text or email, or print the QR code on your materials. Guests tap the link or scan the code and the guidebook opens instantly in their browser.
How many guidebooks do I need?
General rule: one guidebook per experience. If you offer a food tour and a history walk, that's two guidebooks. You do not need separate guidebooks for each guide. Every guide gets their own account and unique code.
What review platforms are supported?
Google, TripAdvisor, Yelp, and GetYourGuide out of the box, plus you can add any custom review platform URL.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
What if I go over my email limit?
We give you a slight buffer so you never lose a capture at a critical moment. If you're consistently going over, we'll suggest a referral (which earns you bonus emails) before asking you to upgrade.
How does email capture work?
Every time a guest accesses your guidebook, they enter their email address before they can view the content. That email is captured and stored in your account, segmented by whether they're a local or a visitor, and tied to the specific experience and guide. You own that data and can export it anytime.
