Everything you need to get started with Digital Guidebooks.
Visit digitalguidebook.co and create an account with your email address. No credit card required. You'll start on the Free plan, which includes 1 guidebook, 1 guide account, 100 emails/month, and core features like email capture, tipping, and review prompts.
From your dashboard, click "Create Guidebook" and give it a name (e.g., "Downtown Food Tour" or "Sunset Sailing Experience"). Add your logo and brand colors to make it yours. The guidebook editor lets you add text, photos, and configure features like tipping and review links.
Each stop represents a location on your tour. Add the stop name, address, description, and photos. Stops automatically appear on the interactive map, so guests can see where they are relative to each stop and their hotel. You can reorder stops by dragging them into the right sequence.
If you have multiple guides, create guide accounts from your Settings page. Each guide gets their own login, profile, and personal QR code. Guides can add their Venmo, Zelle, or QuickPay link so guests can tip them directly through the guidebook.
Every guidebook has a unique link and QR code. You can share the link via text or email before the tour, or print the QR code on booking confirmations, lanyards, or signage. Guests tap the link or scan the code and the guidebook opens instantly in their browser. No app download required.
A guidebook is a complete digital experience for one tour or activity. It contains stops, photos, maps, and interactive features. If you run multiple tour types (food tour, history walk, sunset cruise), each one gets its own guidebook with content tailored to that specific offering.
Stops are the individual locations within a guidebook. Each stop has a name, address, description, and photos. Stops are plotted on the interactive map and displayed in the order you arrange them.
Guide accounts are separate logins for your tour guides. Guides can access the guidebooks they're assigned to, update their profile and tip link, and view their personal QR code. They don't have access to billing, analytics, or admin settings unless you grant it.
When a guest opens your guidebook, they're prompted to enter their email address. This happens automatically. Every captured email is stored in your account and can be exported for use in your email marketing platform. Turn captured emails into repeat bookings and new revenue.
Guests can tip their guide directly through the guidebook. Each guide adds their preferred payment link (Venmo, Zelle, or QuickPay) in their profile. The tip button appears in the guidebook and links directly to the guide's payment method.
Add links to your review profiles on TripAdvisor, Google, GetYourGuide, or any custom platform. Guests see a prompt to leave a review while the experience is still fresh and their phone is already in their hand.
Available on Launch plans and above. Guests can share your guidebook with friends through a pre-loaded message that includes your cover image, description, coupon code, and booking link. Word-of-mouth marketing, made simple.
Available on Growth plans and above. Track guidebook views, email captures, tip amounts, and guest engagement. See what's working and where to improve across all your guidebooks.
